Our client firm, operating with four separate divisions, is the leading producer and distributor of flooring worldwide. As part of the establishment of its newly created North America Centre of Excellence SAP (NA CoE), we are seeking a knowledgeable, dynamic and highly enthusiastic SAP expert. Furthermore the NA CoE SAP, in addition to supporting NA operations, will team with the European CoE SAP, for the roll-out of the international NA SAP Roadmap.
Major Scope and Functions:

Perform project management and execution of all Sales and Distribution (SAP and related systems) projects to ensure that all projects are completed within the agreed upon time and budget.

Build a thorough understanding of the business Sales and Distribution functional areas (pricing, order entry, invoicing, sales organization, tax setup).

Participate in the SD SAP implementation (SAP and related systems) both from the business and IS perspective, including Controlling Profitability Analysis. Interfacing between SAP SD and the other related systems

Accomplish functional analysis, working within the business, to determine how the business processes can be mapped to the Global SAP Template in order to reflect the ever changing business environment.

Advise on major configuration changes & enhancements to the consultants and project leaders in the EU CoE if business processes would require additions or changes in the Global SAP Template.

Test configured solutions (Internal IS testing and integration testing) and co-ordinate User Acceptance Testing

Implement solutions and work together with the business in order to ensure successful promotions to the production environments.

Assume full responsibility for the further SAP roll-out of the EDI implementation with the company's customers according to our project management methodology.

Act as primary business contact for SAP BI reporting questions. Assume full responsibility for the creation, testing and promotion of Finance and Sales driven reports within SAP BI.

Monitor and remediate the software interface from the host SAP system to all different IS subsystems and vice versa.

Be familiar with IS concepts of Integration / Conversion and train users on new IS solutions.

Summary:

The SAP Business Consultant position is a permanent position requiring a BS degree and U.S. citizenship or green card. Travel will be necessary and international exposure (Mexico and Europe) is another desirable attribute for this superb opportunity. Although there is a 6 figure compensation package plus outstanding benefits, no provision exists for relocation.
